Voltaire & Jean-Jacques Rousseau

Past & Present dual

Dates: TBC

Total Duration: 1.30

Voltaire and Jean-Jacques Rousseau have admired each other and opposed as well. Those two glorious men belong to the 18th Century, the Age of Enlightenment and will be linked forever. Gavroche's death in "The Misérables" reminds us that "Voltaire's fault" is close-linked to "Jean-Jacques Rousseau's fault". It is no coincidence if the French Revolution installed them next to each other in the Pantheon, Voltaire in 1791, Rousseau in 1794
